Lockheed SP-2H Neptune (145906 - Civilian Reg. N443NA ‘43’). Served with the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1975 as a Maritime Patrol and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) aircraft. Retired from military service it was in storage at Davis-Monthan A.F.B. before being converted to an aerial tanker for firefighting work.
