Nieuport 11 (N1256). A French single seat fighter aircraft which became one of the most famous fighters of WW1 and one that ended the ‘Fokker Scourge’ in 1916. This example is a reproduction built in 1962. It had flown more than 600 hours before being donated to the museum in November 1982.
