McDonnell Douglas YF-18A Hornet (160775 ‘A-001’). This aircraft was the first off the McDonnell Douglas production line at St Louis, Missouri, making its maiden flight on 18th November 1978 by the Company Chief Test Pilot John Edward Krings.
