Messerschmitt Me 163B‑1a Komet (191316 ‘Yellow 6’). A German World War II rocket‑powered interceptor. It is the only aircraft of its type to enter into operational service. Powered by a Walter rocket motor, using highly volatile and corrosive hypergolic propellants, the type could exceed 620mph in level flight. This aircraft of Jagdgeschwader (JG) 400 was 1 of 21 captured by the British at Husam, Germany.
