Supermarine S.6B (S.1595). This Supermarine S.6B seaplane was the winner of the coveted Schneider Trophy, 13th September 1931. Two weeks later it achieved a world speed record of 407.5mph. The aircraft was designed by Reginald J Mitchell, famed for the design of the iconic Supermarine Spitfire.
