Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a Scout (G‑EBIB ‘G’). Built in 1918 by Wolsey Motors of Birmingham, this example never saw action in World War I. After the war it was bought as war surplus by Major John Clifford ‘Jack’ Savage for his Savage Skywriting Co Ltd based at Hendon, which operated from 1922 to 1934.
